Pottery classes are for all abilities.

Beginners one-off sessions and courses are aimed at developing beginner’s skills, but intermediate ceramicists can be accommodated. The sessions cover techniques such as handbuilding, using moulds, surface decoration and glazing. After demonstating techniques, students are encouraged to develop their own projects.

The cost of a one-off 4.5 hour session is £90. The cost of a 5 week course is £200 per person. These costs includes all materials and firings.

Classes are a maximum of 5 students. Parking is available. In the event of non-attendance it is not possible to provide alternative studio time, but materials can be taken home to develop work.

A full refund is provided 20 days or more before classes start (minus a 5 pound booking fee). Between 10-20 days before, 50% of fees can be refunded (minus a £5 booking fee). No refunds are possible from 9 days before the start date. Once a course
